Thank you for the kind words! I’m glad that you like my very random, non-theme-related, and fandom-filled blog :). I’m a terrible adviser when it comes to relationships, however, so be warned. I’ll do my best, though.
If your soulmate truly is your soul-mate, then the answer to your question is simple: you can never stop loving him/her. But despair not; loving someone forever is, despite what the cynics say (myself included in some dark times of my life), possible, and not necessarily a bad thing. You might feel powerless about your situation (loving your soulmate despite your Reason (and maybe despite that your soulmate hurt you?)), but you always have a choice. Even if you can’t help loving your soulmate because of the singular harmony of your two souls, you can always chose the way you can love him/her. And the best way to love someone is not necessarily by being/becoming her/his lover.
You can love someone best, in some situations, from a distance. In some circumstances, you might need to let your soulmate go. Maybe she/he will return to you. And maybe sending him/her off was the best thing to do for him/her. It was the best way of loving this person. Or maybe it’s by supporting your soulmate and be the best friend he or she ever had. You can’t chose who you fall in love with or who is your soulmate. But you can always decide how to love this person, and what’s best for the both of you.
