now they’ve wanted to screw her up in this show and make it pass like it’s her fault that Gwen has always had feeling for Lancelot.

I think it is exactly the kind of thing Morgana would have had the nerve to do in the legends, to be honest, if she had the chance. I was a bit sad that they didn’t explore something that was hinted at in the texts; Morgana did not only find Lancelot “mighty”, but was in fact quite willing to be his lover. In one of the stories she even kidnaps him, and locks him in a tower until he accepts to deny his love for Guinevere and take her as his lover instead. Now the eye-sex had interesting potential in the episode when keeping that in mind, but when being aware that Lancelot was possessed/empty…it loses some of its appeal. Damn you, Merlin writers.
